Our Mission

The RCC embodies the principle of Ujima collective work and responsibility, by fostering community resilience through peer support, cultural connection, and trauma-informed care. The center’s mission is to build and maintain the community together, addressing shared challenges with collective solutions.

What We Offer

Peer Support & Navigation

  • 1-on-1 and group support from certified peer specialists

  • Help with housing, employment, and healthcare access

  • Recovery planning, crisis support, and MAT referrals

Mental Health & Wellness

  • Trauma-informed individual and group counseling

  • Grief and trauma support groups

  • Wellness activities: yoga, art therapy, and mindfulness

Harm Reduction & Crisis Response

  • Naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and safety kits

  • Overdose prevention education

  • Mobile crisis support and access to MAT
